Economics 101

Support would greatly be appreciated.

You don't know how tempted I am to leave this entry at that simple phrase. It would allow me to keep my pride and not feel as if I were begging for money, and it would probably be easier for most people to ignore.

But pride goeth before the fall and while ignorance is bliss knowledge is power, so I'm going to lay out the facts for you all.
I need $1000 at the beginning of each month. Yes that's right ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS! 1-0-0-0.
That seems like a lot doesn't it? Well let's convert that over to Euro.
Right now the Euro is something like 1.45 to every 1 dollar. Let's just round that up to 1.50 for easier division.
1000÷ 1.50 is 666 euros.
Now let's factor in, food for the week is pulled from ten of us to eat off of for 6 days. That's
666-25= 641. Now let's take away my board, that's close to 100, that's euros now, not dollars.
So we now have 541, now let's put in for the cost of tuition, which would include lights, rent, heat, at 493.39 and then a salary for Andrew, (the man who runs the school) who hasn't drawn salary for over two years on the school, that's 47.61. Now remember all of that is in euro NOT dollars. That 1000 dollars doesn't seem like so much now does it, and it doesn't stretch very far either.

I hate to be frank, but those are the numbers.

Thank you all for being so supportive and giving while I was on my way over but now is the time I need you most, because I want to honor what I'm being taught here. I want to make sure my tuition is payed on time, so that I don't disrupt the order of these economics. I want to honor my teachers and my class mates by being productive in class and on time for classes, so why shouldn't It be she same for my tuition?

As always your prayers and gifts are lead of God and work so many wonders in my life and the lives of others. Please continue to support and I pray that you are all blessed a thousand times in return. (You can do the math on that one.)

  1. Learning to receive truly is just as important and learning to give. We really don't focus on this aspect in the church as we should. When we do not learn to receive in this natural realm how much more difficult will it be for us to learn to receive ALL that God has for us. I believe this is why we are striving to desperately in our works. EVERYTHING that God has for us is a gift. We can't do anything to get it. So learning to receive is a major part in what He is doing in and through us at this time.
