We're not called to be Cinderella

I guess this is just a quick blog to kind of remind my self where I am in the eyes of God.
Because I've always known God loves me, and that he's wooing me into his perfect love, but some times the focus is a little skewed.

For many of us we believe that we're all servants in the eyes of God, meek timid little girl who sings that one day her prince will come and deliver her from her life of cleaning up filth off of the floor. That before Jesus comes and sweeps us off our feet and takes us into his perfect place that we're just servants.
But thats' not true.

What I've come to believe in my walk with God is that we're called to be Sleeping Beauty. A firey princess with a big heart for adventure and bursting with a readiness to get out and discover her own royal heritage.
Of course most of us don't know we're princess, after all we've been raised to believe we're just poor country girls, yet we still go through the grooming and the courses to become a princess even if we don't know that's what its for.
Then some day, the prince arrives, Jesus who is so captured with our regal presence that he can't help but desire that we come into the fullness of Queenship as his wife.

This was just a quick blog to remind me to also be an Aurora not a Cinderella.
(If you've not seen the Disney movies Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, it may be time to rent them.)
